About

Constraints

Constraints are non-negotiable boundaries.

Any proposal that violates these constraints is rejected without debate.

Structural Constraints

  • No panel-based RV construction as the primary structure
  • No glue-only structural load paths
  • No reliance on interior furniture for structural integrity

Architectural Constraints

  • Core geometry must be parametric
  • Core geometry must be vehicle-agnostic in Phase 1
  • Structural shells must be self-supporting
  • Load paths must be explicit and documented

Tooling & Format Constraints

  • Core CAD must be maintained in an open, inspectable format
  • Feature trees must be clean, ordered, and intentional
  • Dimensions and variables must be named meaningfully
  • Geometry that cannot be edited parametrically does not belong in core files

Process Constraints

  • Manufacturing assumptions must be stated explicitly
  • Designs must tolerate fabrication variance
  • No design may assume a single factory, printer, or supplier

Governance Constraints

  • Core architecture changes require documentation
  • Breaking changes must be declared
  • The Manifesto takes precedence over individual preferences

These constraints exist to protect the long-term integrity of the project.
